QUESTION OF THE WEEK

My favourite quotes.

"Supposing is good, but finding out is better."

These are the words of Mark Twain and bring some nice lessons for the hair clinic. One can never suppose, guess, wonder,  when it comes to diagnosing hair loss. One must know. If one doesn't know after listening to a patient's story and examining the scalp and looking at blood tests, one must do a biopsy. If one still doesn't know, another biopsy needs to be done or the entire process of listening to the story, examining the patient and his or her blood tests needs to be reexamined.

Finding out really is better.
